Not only that, but it provides a much-needed balance that as been evidently missing in the previous games.

So how many yellow card offences will Rodri make tonight? 5? 19? It'll be more than 2 for sure.

I've bet he's getting sent off and Phil foden scores. Last time he got sent off Phil foden scored 😲

Hmmm. When Luke Shaw came on in the last game we lost all cohesion and became terrible again...

Hopefully that wasn't *just* because we put Luke Shaw on.

It's because Gareth had just done a half time teamtalk

Thought he did OK when he first came on, but was totally gassed after 15-20minutes.

BBC have changed their tune on Southgate. He's fluked his way to the final and they love him all of a sudden. Turned over.

FA have had a word with the media, you can guarantees it!

Can't be orrible these days.

I don't like Southgate and he was lucky as **** this tournament prior to Wednesday but if England win tonight, people really need to stfu with the criticism.

Did Rio really just describe Southgate as “proactive and brave”?

Jesus wept.

I don’t think Rio knows what 50% of the words he uses actually mean……

Yeah, he'll get some credit. But It wont make make him ready for that top PL job though. Hes still a poor coach either way.

Happened like a switch overnight, someone definitely had a word to protect the morale of the team and the reputation and feelings of the chief gimp.

I genuinely believe Rio thinks he is highly intelligent. Armed with this standard, anyone smarter than him - and that of course is everyone - is a genius in his eyes.

Rumour has it that he believes Lineker’s hair is a genius because someone once described it as ‘smart’

If he flukes one result another result all should be forgiven?

He's a piss poor coach out of his depth, and if we win it's despite him.
