Linekar just said on BBC he suspects it’ll be Southgate’s last game in management. I hope he knows something we don’t!

Just hope they replace him with an actual proper manager. I'm not talking about a high end system manager type, but a Dean Smith or a Graham Potter that can do the man management side and also get them playing decent football.

My worry is it'll be Lampard or Rooney or Gerrard if they do replace him.

Well his performances for England suggest he is either injured, past it or both.

He's not past it, his Bayern form was too good

So then it's injured or a system that doesn't suit him

But either are irrelevant - the manager of the dog and duck drop him after those last 6 games

Only Southgate

The truth is for all to see.

If Foden, Bellingham and Rice look shit in this squad, there's obviously a problem with the coaching.

Can the least that we gain from this be spelling Lineker correctly?

Kane wasn’t fit. Hence his lack of running. I’d be very curious to see his stats on distance covered in the tournament. He looked immobile and uncomfortable.

The Beeb just said with Lineker agreeing. It's hard to play as a striker when the manager wants to play a low block system.

Apart from that, he came here injured.

Kane being captain is a huge problem too

Kane being on the pitch.

Again another one looking distraught. His post match looks shell shocked.

The guy didn't **** sprint once today. He absolutely didn't give it his all. He didn't go out on his shield.

Yeh good point tbf.

I actually really rate the bloke but what on earth was this tournament? He was rubbish from start to finish.

Give it to Bellingham and be done with it.

Whoa. Didn't you see the pre match tributes. 2 finals. Best win rate. Stats say he's the best manager we've ever had.

We all know it's the standard of players he's been blessed with + watered down qualifying + some incredible luck in tournaments. But press and FA work with stats.

And now we have lost again. He will do the decent thing and go.
