Guy who has never won anything isn't going to just withdraw from tournament with a week left unless he's broken something. England just have hardly any pace in final third if Saka isn't around and Kane in this form is detrimental to things dropping deep. Never presses the CBs anymore and you can't knock anything over the top for him to run onto.

They also have excellent defenders, Van de ven and Frimpong are just subs in this tournament. True but could be Turkey yet

One shot on target in both games, both the equalisers and both very late in the game. Deserved to lose both on the balance of play. Anyone can beat anyone at this level but it’s absolute nonsense to suggest that expecting better than this is the tiresome “English arrogance” cliche.

It’s even more simple than that, we have two strikers on the bench who would love that battle and win it without including all the others things they add

sne
That late offside flag very nearly led to a broken leg if that tackle had connected. Stupid rule and interpretation of the offside.

If you read what I wrote, it is not arrogance to criticise Englands style of play but there have been plenty of arrogant statements about how England should be easily beating Switzerland.
