How come VAR just works in these Euros but when it comes to the Premier League it's a complete mess.

I honestly think it's just how our fa/refs have made too many black and white protocols on how it is implemented , rather than just using it as originally intended, to step in for major errors.

Notice how the lino actually flagged off for a narrow offside, we're constantly giving attackers benefit of the doubt and then re-refereeing with var when it's close, rather than just letting the refs/linos ref the game and stepping in when they **** up.

The same reason why our refs are getting worse, a response to being told to do a bad job.

Didn't realise there was also some automated tech as well, which is only helping

They are using semi-automated tech at the Euros.  The Premier League will have it eventually

Crazy isn't it, the premier league is supposed to be the best league in the world and yet our VAR team are still using a sinclair spectrum computer to draw the lines to work out offsides and handballs compared to the VAR officials in the Euros....

It's semi automatic isn't it which will be introduced to the Premier League this season

They don't have a clue how to get McGinn into the game.

Playing more like a second striker though.

He’s playing as a 10 behind Adams, and they don’t play any progressive passes forward to him. Such a waste.

I really hope it’s true that the custard bowl nobbers want to sign cheesy Che Adams, he’s useless.

Th most competitive with the most money but the best players, that's certainly debatable.

This Ndoye looks and plays so much like Watkins it's uncanny

I agree so thought Id check his stats, 1 goal in about 2000 minutes this year.

Ollie is never allowed to leave.

Saw a tweet the other day (possibly on here) that summed it up perfectly. In the premier League, they are using VAR to protect the referees but in the Euros they are using it to get the right decision.

Yes. When he says "eventually" he means the next time a ball is kicked in The Premier League.

This bbc analyst area looks crazy. Wow

Not watching on the beeb but have they once again decided not to use the host nations media centre and build their own at the TV tax payers expense?
