No structure at all to the midfield, perhaps there would've been if he'd played some in the qualifiers against likes of Italy and Ukraine. Compare that to France losing Kante and Pogba before the last World cup and they just moved Griezmann back and hardly any difference. Totally agree, southgate had loads of friendlies to try new, younger players to get them experience. Saka is probably more likely to be able to get to the bye-line on the left and get a cross in, Foden would be better getting between the lines cutting in from the right. At least give it a go ffs.
