I'm not sure they will sell out to be honest.

If we're going well they will, if form is rocky, danger.

Yeah, maybe, especially for the later home games if we’re already through (or already out) for example

Any money would be to go back into the club.

So I'm not sure if " greed is anywhere near a fear accusation.

That’s where I am with it. We aren’t lining someone’s pockets we’re paying to support our club. It’s a lot of money, I and I hate that people are going to be priced out of going… but it isn’t ‘greed’ in my opinion

Yeah but those clubs also have sponsors for absolutely everything down to anal beads.

Humongous worldwide fan bases and income which shits all over ours so they don't need to.

My usual anal bead supplier is not as reliable as previously (broke and left a few lodged up there ) so could you PMs me the details mate 👍

Heck doesn't meet fans halfway. And I am glad he doesn't. He will be gone in 2 years

Hated by the fans and lauded by the board. For hopefully bringing the revenue streams that gave us success.

He can start whenever he likes. Now would be good?

Not announcing increases that won't help the club sign a single player but piss off most fans.

Will they have to publish the attendance for the CL? UEFA rules or some such? If not them I'm sure it will be claimed that all games were sold out regardless if they were or not.

Why wasn't VP packed when we were in the Championship by all the "die hards " ?

There should be special discounts for those of us who endured a 3-1 win for Peterborough! 😂

I think we've sold out very nearly every home game since Dean Smith was appointed haven't we?

Every league game for 6 years.

So season ticket holders in Zones 1 and 2 pay £79 and people are in uproar? I think the games would sell out at every ticket priced at over £100 no problem at all. The demand for these are absolutely off the charts.

There are 4 games. £79 a game isn't crazy pricing. Seems high end of reasonable tbh. The games will sell out no issues so the pricing isn't off in terms of supply and demand nowhere near.

Right on cue

They’ll sell out in minutes.

They haven’t plucked these prices out of the air. They’ll have worked out the optimal prices to charge whilst still filling the ground.

And they ended up more than Liverpool's tickets?

Cowards I say.

Go the whole hog and charge £200 a ticket.

Yes. They’re capitalising on the fact most of us will just pay it. Because we’ve waited 40 years to see us back in this competition.

They’ll have worked out that £200 would actually be too much and they wouldn’t sell them all.

Just south of £100 is taking the piss, but it’s not taking the piss enough that we won’t fill the ground.

It won’t work in a couple of seasons if we’re on the competition regularly, but right now they’ll take advantage of us.

Side step a little.

Has anyone worked out how much revenue will be generated for all the home games if they sell out at these prices, out of interest?

And say if we get through to the next round.

Just curious

Assuming 40k tickets at an average of £80 a ticket (allowing for concessions and ST holder prices) it’s £3.2m

12.8m for the 4 games

If they dropped the tickets by £20 they’d lose £3.2m, which is only 1 week of Digne’s wages

£13,200,378.44

£13,200,178.44 if they don't fix the shitters. So this one.

The four group games at an Average of £80 a ticket would be just over £3 million a game plus additional revenue for food drink hospitality so probably in the region of £14 million for the league stage maybe.

£3.8m per game, £15.5m for all four..

£3.6m more than standard

on ticket sales alone
