Gave a whole new meaning to fell walking.

That is superb. MJ mate, that ranks in the top ten puns of all time. Incredible.

Tidy.

Tidy unless you want to park in the same street as your **** house.

Morans driving from across the country to stand in the rain to stare at the filming crew.

Im just moody cos last time there was free icecream for our inconvenience. I was double flaking.

We appear to have grown a variety of prickly cucumber this year. Weird.

’We’ being my other half, not ‘we’ the great people’s jamahiriya republic of Barry.

My plums all dropped prematurely or withered on the stalk 😩

That was me last year, some weird fungus / virus.

This year, 6.5kg’s of banging ripe plums harvested, probably similar again dropped and scoffed by bugs n hedgehogs or dropped a bit too early. I’d estimate that all in, including windfall the wood lice got to first, probably 10kg’s.

Ooh Ilfracombe. Nice! I spent a good portion of my formative years surfing and getting drunk around the headland in Croyde and Woolacombe. Awesome part of the world.

We used to have family holidays in Croyde, way back in the late 50s/early 60s. One pub, one shop, beach practically deserted, surfing never heard of. It was idyllic. Went back a few years ago, and I could have wept to see what it had become.

Yeah we stopped going back a little while ago. We'd all held fantasies of moving to Croyde, but now every house in the village goes for eye watering sums of money. It's quite up itself now.
