He's like wild horse crossed with David Luiz. Tremendous fun. And an unbelievable purchase for £3m. It’s his hair. Where's he even going to play at Newcastle? Forest is the right club for him at this stage of his career, up there he'll just be behind Gordon. Anderson is a decent player but always seems to get an injury when he breaks into their team. With Tonali back he's been deemed expendable (and homegrown). Forest signed Elanga for 15m a year back so guessing the deal is double that at least to help with whatever shortfall they had with FFP, think they've also sold someone to Lyon. Well done to them for actually remembering to sell a key player before June 30th aswell.... One good thing about these rulings is Newcastle are basically stuck in a holding pattern and just can't go out and sign endless players like Chelsea and Man. City did when they were both taken over. And if they can it would mean selling a crown jewel like Isak or Guimaraes. Lloyd Kelly and Elanga isn't exactly getting me petrified about their prospects for next season. Probably next summer as Arsenal need to sell some fringe players in next 12 months as they've spent a huge amount in recent times. Isak played with Odegaard at Real Sociedad so they'd be plenty of sense in that.

Elanga played mostly on the right wing for Forest and Man Utd (although his preferred position is on the left). Maybe they see him as the Almiron replacement/upgrade? Or maybe Gordon is off to Liverpool and they're getting Elanga in ahead of his departure? Edited Saturday at 14:12 by oishiiniku_uk
Ceemo Posted Saturday at 15:38 Share Posted Saturday at 15:38 Archie Gray on the way to Brentford it seems for £35 million. That's a big price for an 18-year-old.
The_Steve Posted Saturday at 16:05 Share Posted Saturday at 16:05 £35m is outrageous for Gray, no matter the potential.

Think Leeds need to sell at least £50-60m just to clear their FFP issues. I don't know how they are going to rebuild. Ha.
KAZZAM Posted Saturday at 18:41 Share Posted Saturday at 18:41 Newcastle selling that Yakuba Minteh to Brighton for 33mill. Newcastle only bought him for 6mill last summer and he's scored 10 goals in the eredivise. No way is he worth 33mill must be a player going the opposite way from Brighton. villa4europe Posted Saturday at 20:37 Share Posted Saturday at 20:37 Brighton with buonatte, encisco and Pedro already on the books as attacking wide men Ridiculous signing Hopefully the beginning of the end for them

Thought it was a typo when articles reported that he had turned down a £40m move to Lyon (as thought they can't afford that) but seemingly it wasn't too far off. Eredivisie is not what it once was so that is crazy money/profit for a year in an inferior league.

Current midfield options are Gilmour, Baleba, Moder, Gross and Milner. Thought they'd sold Dahoud but he's still listed as their player.

Dahoud was a poor signing and Milner wasnt much better. Gross is also off to Dortmund (he is probably the greatest ever Premier League player for them) Dont think will go down or anything but wont get near last 2/3 seasons

Lower bottom half this year for sure I think.
