After Howe gave it the big un this morning over not overpaying for anyone

It’s from the Ashley playbook, bid for players they couldn’t afford to impress the fans. I’d be shocked if they come back with a bigger offer.

They shouldn't. Guehi isn't worth that money.

Mamardashvili to Bournemouth might be the dodgiest deal of the summer since Liverpool are buying him immediately after the loan is sanctioned so are getting past Premier League rules

Imagine uproar if Newcastle tried this

I don't really get that one. Alisson isn't even that old, maybe 31 so not like he needs to be replaced unless he's informed them he wants to leave next summer do given them 12 months to get a replacement in.

Keheller has been pretty good for Liverpool in the cups so he'll be wanting a move aswell as waste for him to stay backup when he's hitting his mid 20s now.

Viktor Gyökeres with 3 goals and 1 assist in the league after 2 games. Wonder if Arsenal or the likes will pony up for him before the window closes.

Baffling, silly money.

They haven't replaced Dewsbury-Hall although Skipp is far more defensively in nature.

Guessing Cooper will just go 5 at the back and then a deep divot and then hope Vardy and the quick wide players they have will get goals on the break.

£20m is probably the going rate these days for a player of Skipp's profile, still young, over one hundred appearances for Spurs, including seventy-seven in the league and six in the Champions League, not great but a steady enough Premier League performer. But strange that Leicester are buying him when they already have Winks who is a similar player and they have other midfielders and also limited budget, if they needed one more would have thought they would have just gone for a loan, or cheaper option, as back-up to Winks and Ndidi
