"Brighton have signed Amario Cozier-Duberry after the expiry of the winger's Arsenal contract.

The 19-year-old, who had been with the Gunners' academy since September 2019 but had not made a first-team appearance, has joined Albion on a contract until 2028."

Another clever addition by Brighton

Is it any different than us signing Limo Sousa?

Lyon signed caleta car from Southampton, their 7th signing of the summer, spent €115m

Plus Thiago Almada has signed next January for 20 million

Paying 25 million for a player from Molenbeek as have same owner. Nothing dodgy at all, am sure Molenbeek are chuffed this big signing never played a minute for them while relegated

Glad we are on that multi club scumwagon

Hard to tell with us and the multi clubs, we seemingly haven't done anything with it yet

He couldn't play a minute for them - he was on loan at Lyon with a 25m purchase option :D

Guessing he moved to RWDM to avoid Lyon paying a transfer fee last season or something; given he went on loan there.

Lyon rumored to be selling Rayan Cherki to Dortmund for a very reasonable fee. Still only 20 years old.

Dortmund have signed CB Anton from Stuttgart too

Don't know anything about him but looks like stuttgarts starting CB as they finished 2nd above Dortmund

Rumored they are getting Guirassy and Pascal Gross too.

Only the Bayern badguys would do that not the wholesome Dortmund

To be fair Bayern are definitely still the bad guys

Dortmund are worse at raiding Bundesliga teams in recent times but good media PR

for me it more that bayerns owners legitimately put more money in to them than man citys owners do

Audi being their €60m a year official car partner is obviously completely above board

Dortmund just signed a deal with an arms dealer and signed a homophobe and transpobe even though fans protested the signing

Rather Bayern shitty but not as shitty approach

Chelsea signing an American full back. How much have they spent again this summer?

I had the same thought last night - and it turns out that their wiki page for the 2024-25 season has a handy tracker.

According to that, and up until yesterday, they were running at a profit of £39m this summer after the sales of Maatsen, Hall and Hutchinson.

Which I must admit I find slightly annoying. It looks like they've got the American guy and two or three more lined up - and with sales of Lukaku, Broja and potentially Gallacher to come - they're probably in a position where they can spend another £100m and break even this summer.

Posted (edited)

Guess the €35m they spent on that Brazilian kid goes into the 25/26 accounts as he's only 17.

I don’t think we’ve allowed to do anything with it until after this summer.
