Cmac
Palmer back but no gusto or Chilwell so full backs be weak for Chelsea. Enzo out as well but given how he is playing, not sure if that’s good or bad. At home under the lights, we should be looking to win this!
sheepyvillian
Need to administer some payback for that FA Cup trouncing. That should be motivation enough. As long as we're are focused from the off, I really don't see us having a problem. Come on me Babbys!
BleedClaretAndBlue
Palmer FC getting smoked by Emery’s CLBound Villa I’ve decided there’s just too many goals in this side.
villa89
A draw would be okay, Spurs unlikely to get all three points this weekend either.
brummybloke
The only real concern they cause is their speed. If we can stifle them and play how we can, this in theory, should be a 2-0 or 3-1 win. Would think putting doug back in and letting diaby go to the bench (or bailey) to have a midfield 3 of teilemens, doug & super john as we need to control the midfield when we win the ball back. I expect they will repeatedly hit the diagonal long pass trying to beat the offside.

Carney and Sterling doubts so basically their front line will be Palmer in number 10 position with Mudryk and Mudeke either side, they really don't have anyone else and bench will be full of kids. We're coming from all corners of the country and taking over an entire town! Most are there for the weekend, including a pub crawl tomorrow evening. I'm setting off tomorrow morning, can't wait. Would like to be there but had other commitment

Brumstopdogs
Feels like a huge opportunity for us but not confident in the result as either team are well capable of winning. Hoping for an early Villa goal with the Holte in full voice. UTV!

alreadyexists Posted April 27 VT Supporter Share Posted April 27 Also, I have virtually no interest in performance tonight, a win or a draw and I’m happy, even if we fluke a winning goal off Cole Palmer’s bum I’ll be ecstatic!
