People are no longer individuals and judged by the content of their character not the colour of their skin. People are part of a group and they are assigned judgements based on the things assigned to that group. The aim is to use the categories to manufacture beneficial outcomes for one group over the other. The belief is that this helps correct the imbalance on one group over the other. We actively disadvantage people from the "oppressors" group at the benefit of the "oppressoed" group via a variety of means. Creating a situation where we divide people into groups has only ever lead to more divisions and very bad outcomes in all of human history. It intentionally creates us and them situations. Imagine just declaring that centuries of racism is over because... well you know, trying to stop it is a bit divisive

I'd agree it's quite a loosely organised grouping, but still pretty coherent. Comparing to anarcho-syndacalism is way OTT IMO. I'm ambivalent on BLM fwiw, the initial 'movement' generated real momentum, since then I'd say it's done some good work and some not-so-good things, but claims that there is no BLM organisation and its just a slogan feed into some of the nuttier gammon conspiracies about the movement IMO

Just look at Charities, so many were and are corrupt ways of getting money from people to line pockets rather than help those they are intended to. Does that mean the sentiment of charity is bad, no obviously not.

My views are we should focus society on equality of opportunity for everyone and not equality of outcome. I believe the primary issues faced are socio economic not race. People who grow up in disadvantaged backgrounds do not have the equality of opportunity of those born in wealthier backgrounds. This is irrespective of race. Rich minority person Vs poor white person doesn't place the latter in the privilege state based on being white.

You aren't society Society exists Society created the groups You have cause and effect all twisted up The groups existed first, its not chicken and eggs. You can't just say for example racism doesn't exist, when it obviously does, those affected by it will automatically be an a group, they didn't place themselves in it. The groups will not exist once the problem is solved and until it is solved they will always be in a group. It really isn't that hard a concept to grasp

AshVilla
Apparently the new Dune 2 movie is incredibly woke... Female characters have been shamelessly rewritten to be "girlbosses" compared to their original counterparts in the book... Oh noes. https://worthitorwoke.com/dune-part-2/
