Out of interest, are the fan id's for the 10 linked in anyway?  I.e. do you all have a relationship / strong relationship with your group in the system?

Yes we used to have 12 split into 3 Family groups as kids got older went to Uni and so on and they put prices up we moved from the family area T1 in The North Stand to T2 row T, U and V close to T3 as was better view for same price.

Would not let us change the names on the tickets for the Uni kid so lost one father/son.

When we first started got season tickets as a group 6 years ago in The Championship it was £640 for 2 adults 2 kids in the family area it's now £1968 although no family discount.

We hung on in The North Stand but now I think The Holte is better value adult tickets are £818 as opposed to £765 and that difference gives you a day of your life back from all the queuing and stupid road closers for European games.  Plus it's easier to get refreshments at HT and closer to the car/pub we use.

Are we supposed to have received a renewal letter in the post or has that gone in the cost-cutting exercise along with the actual season ticket card?

Didn’t get one this year so assumed it’s bens binned off too, unsure if we will get the gift box….

So what about the old boys (and girls) who aren't digitally savvy, will they just miss the renewal deadline then?

That’s concerning for sure….please bring this to the attention of the club asap as it does appear that we have just moved to this digital only process overnight rather than give those in the bracket you mention some time to adjust….

2024/25 Season Ticket physical card request form

I guess you'll have to renew first and then can fill out this form if you want a physical card, it states by ticking the box and submitting the request you are agreeing to pay £20 per card over the phone to the ticket office.

Which contradicts what the ST FAQs states, free for those who want them, somewhat confusing:

How are season tickets being fulfilled this year?
All season tickets this season will be digital and supporters can add their digital season ticket to an Apple or Google wallet as an NFC pass. Season Ticket Holders who wish for a physical card instead will need to fill out a form on the website stating the reason for the need for a season ticket. Applicable reasons why would be if someone has a medical condition, or a supporter doesn’t have a smartphone. This card would then be sent out free of charge. Any future reprint would entail a charge as per previous seasons.

So around £1,800 for a season ticket of Terrace View?  £95 a game.

Is Lower Grounds a similar price?

Thats not a bad price actually, buying tickets match by match in zone 1 is going to be around £70 a match.

So for someone who can’t get a season ticket but will attend the majority of matches, it’s a pretty decent deal.

For closure on this, lower grounds is in the trinity and prices are out Monday.

The next few weeks will be interesting.

The headline moved group - the 919 people who were written to about their seats being changed over for new hospitality - they'll get first dibs on the relocation window and will be selecting 919 seats from the around 12,500-13,000 available - there ought to be a reasonable amount of choice and a pretty good chance they'll be able to sit fairly close to where they sat before.

The second group, the one that's sort of been sneaked through, are the more concerning one. They're the people who have been moved because of changes to the layout of the Upper North Stand and the Lower Holte End. There seem to be several hundred of these people and there doesn't seem to have been the same levels of thought put into them. These are the people who have been split from friends and family, moved further than seems necessary, or transferred a very short distance but into a new price zone.

I don't think they're being included in the "first" relocation windows, it's not clear (no honestly, it's not) whether those windows are purely for those affected by hospitality changes or for everyone that's being moved. They weren't given advance communication of the moves, there isn't the same clarity on what's happening to them and crucially, if they're going to be in the "Traditional Relocation Window" they're now behind the other 919 in the relocation window.

In theory that should be easier for the ones in the Holte End - none of the 919 are in there, so unless they've been hankering for a move to the Holte, they're unlikely to take up the seats that displaced Holte Enders would like - in the North Stand it could get trickier, there's less space, there are 250 new hospitality spots and there are changes to the layout and the aisles which affect price zones. There are about 4,000 seats up there, and once the 250 relocates have been placed, and the 250 hospitality accommodated - there will be less choice for the people moved around up here to fit in around season ticket holders that weren't moved around.

The relocation period will be key - people will want to move a few seats in one way or another to get back in touch with their groups, or to get nearer to their old seat, or to move one row forward or one seat sidewards and save £130 - I think there are going to be a lot of these requests and it's really important that the club is ready to accommodate them. I hope the club has that in mind and is ready for that.

As ever, communication will be key to that, it's important that the club are open and clear as to how people can move, the process for doing it, any affect it has on pricing or future season tickets and so on. On the evidence of the last six months that seems unlikely and it might fall on fans to try to keep each other informed on best practice and how its working out.

This sums the situation up perfectly

No consideration given to family and friends groups that have been split that were not part of the 900 displaced for corporate. Many more people have been displaced in a different way and the only option given is the late relocation window in July, where no doubt the best options will have been taken.

It's a complete shambles. I suspect they wanted lots of people like me to not renew so these seats could be moved to corporate also. It's just the start.
