Sulberto21
Every game is a must win. Have to stop the rot and hang on in there. However I think Fulham will win this.

We played well today against a far better team than Fulham . There is every chance we could win.
striker Posted February 11 Visiting Supporter Share Posted February 11 Villa desperately need a win to get back on track. Away to Fulham is a tough way to start but the players will have a full week’s rest plus more time for those close to fitness to be ready.

AVFCDAN
Lose this and you're starting to wonder how far we can drop. Wasn't long ago we had dreams of competing for the title and now I'm thinking is top 6 still on?
cb_82
Becomes must win now, record is poor down the years v Fulham but got a feeling we may have a performance in us after yesterday. 2-1 Villa!
Guest
We need to start putting these chances away like we did at SHU. No good having the possession and the shots and the XG if we're missing the target / hitting them right at the GK.
duke313
Let’s see something like this. Missing too many key players to persist with the same system. A fresh approach good work wonders.
Villatillidie95
Need to be on it becuase they have some excellent set piece specialist and crossers of the ball….it is a game you fear but we have enough to beat them. I do worry about Palhinha, he seems to be scoring fairly regularly in the PL and his size is a worry…

We will get loads of chance, just need our finishing boots on

OutByEaster? Posted February 12 Moderator Share Posted February 12 If Torres has any setbacks, or we have a single injury or suspension at CB, then with Chambers not registered in the squad, there's a chance we go into a European game with somebody bonkers playing at CB - Villa vs Real Betis with a Diego Carlos and Zaniolo centreback pairing anyone? We're currently without Konsa, Mings, Buendia, Duran and Kamara and with Torres not fit enough to start - we didn't have a big squad to start with and we're just about struggling through - one more problem at the back in particular and we're in very deep doodoo.
WakefieldVillan
After the performance against United, (not the result), I was feeling optimistic about this one, but the news of Kamara's injury and no return date set for Konsa it's left me feeling pretty deflated. I think I'd try to keep it as similar as last time out, Pau for Lenglet IF fit & Tim for Kamara. I think he is a more like for like replacement and hopefully we can keep the fluency from yesterday, but with a killer instinct. Martinez Cash. Carlos. Torres. Moreno. Tim. Luiz. Bailey. McGinn. Ramsey. Watkins. Bench; Olsen, Digne, Lenglet, Diaby, Tielemans, Zaniolo, Rogers, KKH, Chambers. Hard one to predict, they're much better at home than away, won two back to back home games 5-0 in December, beat Arsenal and lost to Burnley, so quite inconsistent. They have good players, dangerous players, but without being disrespectful I'd only have Palhinha from the two starting elevens. F.. it... 1-2 Bailey, Watkins. Luiz is a worry on his own from a defensive point of view and obviously Tim is inexperienced at this level. I think if he’s fit I’d prefer Pau at left centre back as I don’t trust Carlos/ Lenglet at centre back. Maybe a midfield 3 of Luiz Tim and McGinn gives us the balance.
