The_Steve
We had chances but they came at the expense of a totally preventable goal. Much like the second goal; we were too lackadaisical and slow and our full backs greatly exposed. It’s been a very poor half from many, especially the midfield. beasley14
They've not had to do too much, we've given the ball away so often we can't build any momentum and space.
saturdaygig
I know you guys all love Bouba but he's been apalling so far. Every time he has the ball he passes it to a blue shirt.

Farlz
Terrible half but the bad thing is, Sheffield United aside, performances like this are becoming more and more regular. See nothing to think we can get back into this.

MakemineVanilla
Too many players having an off day and a one-sided referee. Emery looks on the verge of tears.
bannedfromHandV
As depressing as it is, it’s not even that bad a performance, it’s just a catalogue of shocking decisions all over the pitch, encapsulated by Kamara’s awful performance losing the ball umpteen times one of which resulted in the first goal. So many simple passes undercooked or over hit, not shooting when we should and not doing the basics well enough in defence. Sort it out Villa!

supermon
We've seen this performance quite a few times in the first half, I don't get why we play like that

Because he's been appealing for non existent fouls all **** half.

No need to overreact. this isnt luck though, the same with Newcastle, we let them play well, we let them get on the front foot and do what they want to do. its the kind of thing we used to do pre-Emery, which was to be passive, roll over and let teams tickle our tummy. We just havent seen it for over a year (until our recent poor-ish 10 game run).

It's "KuhMAHruh" FFS It's probably KamarAH, as the french always stress the last syllable. maltesemike
What a disappointment. I always saw Unai as adaptable, but he is coming across stubborn in the way we set up. But maybe we just don't have the options to play a different way?

striker Posted February 7 Visiting Supporter Share Posted February 7 Chelsea have been right up for it while Villa haven’t got out of bed. Never seen Villa dominated like that this season but every Villa player has been awful and that’s being kind. Emery looks furious and rightly so.
