I still think we need a Diaby replacement.  This project needs a Bergkamp/Zola/ Merson type player I feel. Someone technical who can unlock a defence and be that x factor for us.

A Chiesa perhaps?

He will be back training in a month, but is unlikely to be available for selection until November.

I suspect he'll be November at least until he's fit to start - but being able to add him to the bench at some point October would be great. 

Good for rotation, and getting him up to speed. Just helps take the workload off some key players

Hoping for this surprise SS now and a RCB/RB.  
 

yes understand some need to go out but these two positions I think we need.

Chiesa has a bit of a stink about him similar to Felix, a so called top class player that his current club doesn’t want and no one else seems to be rushing to sign either

Many links saying we were interested in late Spring. Not much since then, but the player has been on international duty for basically 3 months.

He had that bad knee injury 2 years ago and after that it's been a never ending stream of smaller injuries.

Fans want players signed/sold early in the window to “bed them in”

but the late window game is all about getting these bargains and selling the hardest players. 

I can see us pulling a coup of player or/and selling a Dendonker

If we can move Carlos, Moreno and Dendonker out and get Geertruida and Lo Celso in Ill be happy with the window and the squad. We'll have PSR work still to do but we can solve that in Jan or June

Jaden Sancho would be a good option. Not wanted at United, did brilliantly again last season at Dortmund (in the same team as Maatsen). Could be a good fit for us.
