Why? I assume it’s independent of each other as Monchi dealing with transfers and Emery with the team.  Yes them and DV are in constant contact but I don’t think the US tour will affect main transfer targets.

I think there's now a slight lull due to those that have returned for pre seasonal and those who have extended holidays

No big names moving for another week but it'll ramp up again before the internationals go back to their clubs

Do we recruit late in the window, under Emery? Cant remember what happened last summer. I feel like we’d have had the core sorted by now. Maybe we’ll see a couple of loans in the defence department to help us through the season - wouldn’t mind Lenglet back. Four more weeks to go (pretty much). Exciting.

Its not perfect but I would be happy with that. No good back up keeper worries me. Maybe sort out that issue in Jan.

Funny, as I think it's nearly inevitable.

More likely he's playing here than anywhere else next season.

Maybe Saudis get involved as I don't see him staying at AM, going to Benfica or Barcelona

Or another random team comes in. United?

Ok maybe not inevitable but more likely than not he'll be here.

I think the money involved and the complexities surrounding any deal are vast, plus I’m not entirely convinced we are his first choice of team to play for. I have many doubts! I THINK I want it to happen, but I’m not convinced it will.
