For under £10m that is being touted it’s a decent option. Premier league experience coming into his prime and tall which would help from set pieces etc. right footed too

If I collate all info on Felix, I think this is the situation..

Player/Atleti side:

- Player wants to move to Barca
- Barca can’t afford him
- Atleti don’t want to loan and will only sanction a sale
- Felix happy to join Villa (?) but not Benfica
- Atleti want £40-50m
- Atleti want deal done by Thursday as that’s when their training starts

Our situation:

- We want Felix
- About to sanction £50-60m sale of Diaby.
- Waiting for replacement before giving green light?
- Total package deemed too expensive when wages factored in.
- Will be a done deal on Wednesday.

Tbf it’s been a cracking offseason. Euro’s and this non stop transfer window have made it zoom past. Now US tour, some more incomings/outgoings and kick off for the new season.

Yep Monchi has kept us on our toes daily and I’m looking forward to what else he has up his sleeve and now the preseason is back it’s all getting exciting again.
