diaby to felix would definitely feel like a downgrade

if the rumours of a £60m release clause for eze are true, that just feels like an absolute no brainer

Felix would be more suited to the second striker role we played Diaby in.

The article to me doesn’t present any new concrete information. He’s not worth that purported fee, not to mention his ridiculous wages.

Hard disagree with that one sir.

A weird one, because possibly a " downgrade " as a winger, but an upgrade as a second striker/10 through the middle etc.

Should be noted that it has been widely reported that Joao Felix wants his future decided by the end of July because otherwise he is due to return to training at Atletico Madrid August 1st and does not want to go back at all.

Any deal for Felix would be heavily incentivised I reckon.
If we end up paying 55m then it will have been worth it.

It was reported by multiple sources that his salary was in excess of €200k per week when he was loaned out to Chelsea was a big stumbling block for any future deal.

This is without factoring in Joao Felix’s salary — well in excess of £200,000 a week — which would put him in the upper reaches of a Chelsea wage structure that Boehly and Clearlake are trying to bring down to a more sustainable level

Financially can't see how we can afford Felix.

Transfer fee, wages, bonuses will be hefty and we have already spent this summer. If we do get him, next summer we will have to pay the price with PSR shite I assume.

Can you actually provide evidence that his salary isn’t this high? I am genuinely curious now. Otherwise, it’s a perfectly valid critique
