Down to our last seven left backs now he's gone - just Maatsen, Digne, Moreno, Illing-Junior,  Sousa, Chrisene and Munroe left.

Gulp.

We've got Mings or Hause we could put there if we had an injury crisis 👍

We were, but looking at the positions he takes up from that video I can't think for the life of me how we'd fit him in

On loan to the Championship then sell him for £30m the following season

Not sure why we'd be near La Coruna, isn't Vigo (as in Celta) nearby?

Isn’t he saying that’s where Emery lives? Couldn’t it just be Emery going back there for some personal reason?

Hmm… could they go back to Cash? They’d have to make an offer better than this though, so maybe not.

That's got to be one of the most disingenuous smiles I've ever seen.

I just have a gut feeling that Unai is going to turn Onana into a player worth almost double what we paid for him eventually.

All the raw attributes are there, look what he's done with much more! Physically " limited " players?

Maybe but I can only go on the data and what I’ve seen.

I don't think Man City would want him...but anyone have a slight concern that a GK merry-go-round could start if Ederson moves to Saudi and see Emi linked elsewhere?

Would they go with Stefan Ortega as their #1? I'm not sure, I think they buy

Probably go for the Valencia keeper

Haha can you imagine the limbs and backflips if Spurs signed Cash as a replacement for Royal though...

With our CL squad looking close to full can’t we just get some U21 players in as they’d sit in the B List? Or am I missing something in the rules?

For example we could go out and get…

  • RB - Kayode (19)
  • CB - Mosquera (19)
  • RM - Soule (21 but qualifies as U21 for 24/25)
  • CM - Nypan (17)
  • CAM - Gloukh (19)
  • ST - Konate (20)

…and they wouldn’t impact our main CL List A.

I think its only u21 if theyve been at our club for X amount of years.........

That's more likely than unlikely I'd say.

I can't believe we're signing him.

Correct: UEFA defines 'homegrown' players as those who, regardless of their nationality, have been trained by their club or by another club in the same national association for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21.

Think this may have been a big factor in us re-signing JPB
