Indeed, there are also short football on players who are technically shit.

I know because I'm one of them 😃.

Beon Lailey!

I play all along the back 4 and can occasionally shoot up the wings if anyone was wondering.

Pretty quick but I generally pull things if I try to turn too fast.

Both are behind Luiz in attacking sense though

4 goals a season Luiz?

Maybe, just maybe , Emery doesn't rate him as much as some on here do, and feels that we need a quicker, more combatative, energetic midfielder who can pass the ball forward quicker to replace him.

Never understood the obsession with Luiz, hes ok, no more than that. It was more important to retain Ramsey and Kamara, and the way Tilemmans played last night, we will not miss Luiz in the slightest.

Each to their own though

4 goals?

Hate to break it to you but he got 10 goals 10 assists last season and scored I think 6 games in a row at VP. Season before that 7 goals 6 assists

Ah so we dont count form under this manager but include the seasons he played holding midfielder or the year we didn't have a coach

I’ve had a go at what our squad may look like next year including some predicted further ins and outs.

I know we are going for flexibility but I’ve tried to use every name only once, Kamara would obv start but maybe not until Jan and try not to get too hung up with the depth order.

Greens are signings that are complete, orange are potential.

Time will tell. You rate him higher than me, fair enough . Emery wants a team that will retain its place in the top 4 on a consistant basis, and he has sold him. Whats that tell you?

That we had to sell him for farcical financial reasons. That’s blatantly obvious.

I think you're both right to a degree.

Any conspiracy theories want to put 3 and 5 together?

Jack at Juventus Academy...

Although I think they have Academies in different countries.

Jack on a season long loan with an option not obligation to buy wouldn’t be the worst move… much rather we don't go back and go for someone else btw but let’s not forget he is one of the best footballers we’ve ever produced and still a fantastic player.

Some midfielder options outside of the Premier League that I hope we have had a look at.

Mats Wieffer (Feyenoord)

Youssouf Fofana (AS Monaco)

Ederson (Atalanta)

Matt O’Riley (Celtic)

Angelo Stiller (Stuttgart)

Jerdy Schouten (PSV)

Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad)

Exequiel Palacios (Leverkusen)

I'm with you, I like him but I'm not overly worried about him leaving.

I might be proven wrong but I think Barkley is going to be an excellent signing and be a staple of that midfield this season

He's going to be great.

Not charging all over the place.

He'll be a key man we'll have to rotate.
