Aston Villa's scouts, who have been following Muçi for a long time, liked him very much in this tournament as well, and they were preparing to make an offer of 27 million euros for transfer fee and 4.5 million euros for salary. But Hasan Arat and his management were insistent on not selling.

Link with Muci, I don’t really see it because he only joined Besiktas in Jan?

Aah… so you DO rate Pau 🤔

looks like a CL defence… but the debate will be over aerial prowess.

If it wasn't for FFP I'd be happy to spend huge on a new RB, but the second half of the season Konsa more or less established himself as our main RB, also for England, so you could argue we already have one of the best RB:s in the league. I got the impression we bought Nedeljkovic to go in and challange for a starting place next season and I still hope KKH can get some chances. Though I do agree it would be best to bring in a new specialist RB. To me Cash is redundant though and would rather give Ned and KKH a chance.

I’d be stunned if KKH is given a chance, he barely played after being recalled from Plymouth. Nedeljkovic yes, but still has been injured for a bit this year.

if Konsa’s the main RB, who’s the CB partner to Pau? I just feel like that would be not ideal for a PL & CL season. If we’re looking at just right backs in general, Konsa’s no where near being the best in the league tbh.

Ahhhh. Olsen.

I was looking for Robin Olsen.

Damn it, I was going to write that but second guessed myself.

Soule/Chiesa is an astronomical difference to McKennie; surely Juventus aren't that daft!

But yeah i'd take that...

I’d  mexpect if we went for either of those we’d drop Iling Jnr from the proposed swop.

Little did I know when waiting for the evening mail for my transfer gossip back in the day, I'd one day need a degree in maths to aid future speculation.

How dull.

Summer of 95 was a good one for Evenimg Mail transfer watching.  Southgate, Milosevic, Draper, transfer record SMASHED twice

I get the feeling that buying clubs, just might be stringing out deals that are all but agreed, in the knowledge that we need a deal to go through quickly. Wouldn't be shocked if with 48 hours left to get deals over the line, we are faced with take it or leave it ultimatums, with Forest's situation last season being quoted as our other option. Perhaps clubs are looking to take advantage of our situation, or would rather enjoy seeing us have a points deduction.

This implies  that other clubs have an intimate knowledge of our situation, but there's  no reason they should no much more than any of us on here.

They may know we need to sell, which will depress the value of our players, but not how badly. Surely when they raise that during negotiations,  our default response would be, "piss off, we don't need the money that badly, we're selling Duran, or Cash, or Iroegbunam". May change as we get closer as you say

More than 35 mill? Must be because of  Duran going there and PSR boosting. Otherwise you'd imagine Dortmund would've bought him for around 30mill.

Not seen much of Maatsen tbh so can't really give thumbs up or down.

I know Iling-Jnr isn’t a proper LB back but does buying Maatsen mean the Iling-Jnr deal and as such the Dougie deal is off I wonder.

Oooh. So that means no Iling then? Which probably means no deal with Juve? Which means no Doug out? So is PSR not an issue?

Things are all over the place at the moment. Questions questions questions.
