Considering half the clubs in Europe have American owners these days it probably won't be long before they start pushing for a US style player trade system. Wouldn't work, but then again neither would a salary cap and that still seems to be discussed.

I’d be happy if we could just walk away from Juve… trying to shift their cast offs or dead weights onto us… cheapskate barstewards.

Offer a player of real worth or value or piss off.

Have always believed Goncalves would struggle in the Premier league. Wouldn't pay more than 20m as a result.

He didn’t struggle against Arsenal in the Champions League

Be happy with a points deduction next season as well then?

No, but there are alternative sales we could possibly make.

Still expecting that to go through but I’d rather we went with a different solution personally.

Just how I feel.

The points deduction is the punishment for not getting the books straight by the deadline.

we still need to get the book straight regardless.

Hopefully we tell Mckennie to do one, and make Juve cough up another 32 million euros.

But they're tight c****!

Indeed, just pay us the money if you want him.

If Iling still happy to come just make up the difference.

True but it seems to me they don’t have the money and we’re not overly interested in McKennie.

Transfers are difficult enough.

So I can only imagine how complex a swap deal, muchless a multi player swap deal must be!

If it wasn't for FFP I'd be happy to spend huge on a new RB, but the second half of the season Konsa more or less established himself as our main RB, also for England, so you could argue we already have one of the best RB:s in the league. I got the impression we bought Nedeljkovic to go in and challange for a starting place next season and I still hope KKH can get some chances. Though I do agree it would be best to bring in a new specialist RB. To me Cash is redundant though and would rather give Ned and KKH a chance.

Konsa does not look comfortable at right back to me, it’s a priority position to fix this transfer window. Cash is a good player and proven at PL level, he just doesn’t quite fit Emery’s system - binning him off and replacing him with untested youngsters is a bad idea

Yeah I agree, Cash is nowhere near as bad as people think he is, but it'sw still an area that needs strengthening. We really need a strong first choice there, with Cash as a squad player and the youngsters as back up.

My take on Cash, he’s got a lot going for him, but he lacks confidence and a good cross… he plays with far too much caution. Always standing back defending, leaving too much room  and he bails out of an attacking runs to pass it backwards.

I just want him to be more confident with his own abilities. Then he’d be a real good FB, after he spends time working on that cross too
