The most likely to be heading for the exit door is young striker Jhon Duran.

while there has been no dismissal of the interest from Italy, sources have indicated that a deal is ‘way off’ and given the difficulty of organising a swap deal and the fact that Villa don’t need to take anyone they don’t want from the Turin club, the chances of Weston McKennie arriving as part of the deal are receeding.

This is hilarious. How on earth does he have that London accent !

Player wise I think he’s like a better version of the Donk but still has a lot of room for improvement.

Must admit I've always quite liked Amadou Onana; surely Emery can up his game further.

Onana is 22 years of age and has all the attributes; watching Villa last season I thought we often looked lightweight, especially when we lost Kamara.

Seems like it's either Onana or Gallagher then?

Linked with Todibo again

🚨 EXCL 🔴⚫🦅
▪️ the Gym has noted the departure of Jean-Clair Todibo who finds himself on the market
▪️ Bayer 🇩🇪 makes him the natural replacement for Tapsoba if he leaves
▪️ Juventus 🇮🇹 have already spoken with the player's agent
▪️ Dortmund 🇩🇪 and Aston Villa 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 are very interested

Are they similar options? Gallagher plays much further forward doesn't he?

We need an Onana or equivalent, and I'm not sure Gallagher is that.

No they aren't the same but we definitely that energy in the middle; this is a quality they both share.

Especially if you take out Luiz and Kamara.

That Goncalves story has a ring of authenticity to it - the original article states we're going to move for him later in the window having got finances in order, and that the player is in no rush to leave but might be tempted by a decent bit of wedge.

Hopefully we tell Mckennie to do one, and make Juve cough up another 32 million euros.

Think Juve are cash broke. They don’t have anything in the bank
