Considering the opinions of the Everton fan on here… and if that’s what they’re all like…Onana is probably world class.

Overrated 😉

Has he improved at all in his 2 years in the Premier League? He still looks like raw talent whenever I've seen him playing for Everton. Good stats for tackles and headers but not much else. Arguably he'd have improved more if he'd been playing at a better club.

I think you'd be buying Onana still on potential for sure. He did look good for Belgium v England alongside Tielemans in March but wasn't making the Everton team in last few weeks when they started winning.

According to BBC it's Arsenal who've enquired about him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't buy a new right back ala how Cash plays.

I think Emery wants Carlos out and a new RCB in. So with Konsa, Nedeljkovic and McKennie seems we are probably covered for RB. Iling Junior has said he's both footed so it's possible he can operate on both sides.

Dunno, Emery said his favourite formation is actually 433 so if we eventually switch to that, we'll need an RB who can go forward.

Apparently us and PSG are interested in Onana. (Article in the Times).

Can’t see it myself. Physically he’s very good but is he good enough on the ball receiving a pass under pressure?

This for me.

Everton paid about £34m, presumably for his physical attributes and potential.
Nothing has changed - he hasn't developed - but he's now older.
If anything, his price should reduce, not go up by 50%.

The tax for 'proven in the PL' is mental. And he ain't exactly proven.

I disagree. He's now experienced in this league, and that alone has value.

Onan has looked a proper handful and absolute unit whenever I've seen him.

Which admittedly isn't often

If any truth it's evident we want more size and strength throughout the team.
