I’ve always get the hint that Monchi does his business a lot louder than Purslow and Lange did. If you team this up with how open the Milan clubs are with transfers… I’d expect if we were in for any of their players, we would’ve heard things about it already.

'The Trees' worked out that we were in for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after Houllier retired through ill health - all by tracking Randy Lerner's private jet. Think the intel was all absolutely spot on until Ole turned us down.......

It was one of those 'stopped clock being right twice a day' moments.

RE: Milan, it was Diego Carlos linked there, I believe?

Dumfries is the obvious guess as he's rumored to be for sale and we badly need a RB.

Milan-Turin is less than 2 hours by car and I guess not long at all by helicopter if they want to chat with Raoul Bellanova who's also been linked.

Carlos to AC Milan would be nice but I guess that would be a loan with option kinda thing.

Joe Montemurro has been suggested as candidate for Villa women job, he was Juventus women manager up until a few months ago, he's Australian, but maybe still based in that area

Come on Everton, you don’t need to waste time and money on Philips… we have Dendoncker ready  and waiting for you.

If it's a player I was impressed with Yunus Musah watching him a few years back for the US national team, no idea how he's progressed since then. Very versatil. He was at Valencia before Milan

Arguably, Dendonker would be way better value for money

I truly believe the club have to sell JJ just to settle the books with FFP, and being a homegrown player that should settle the PSR overspend of 14.5m.

Lucas Digne would be another one getting on in years and on stupid wages ,and i am sure will be moved on and replaced by someone with a better wage/performance/age ratio.

The impact of the new squad cost ratio by the premier league(After the scrapping of the 105m losses allowed over 3 yrs) in the coming season is yet to be ascertained and could have a detrimental affect on our signings.

can you explain how you have come to a 14.5m PSR overspend?

Why not both? Not gonna get out of that financial whole without some clever work.

That'd be an exciting appointment. They're clearly serious about keeping the women's team on an upward trajectory

Kalvin Phillips going on loan to Everton. That makes perfect sense he'll do well with Dyche. Means they won't move for Dendonker then

Could be a good move for them if Dyche can use his man management to get Phillips back on it. Higher upside than Dendonker for them certainly. More risky though.

I know his wages are probably an issue but in a certain role, Dendonker would still be a great signing for many PL clubs

We have Bailey, Diaby, Rogers, Ramsey, and Buendia, that's five players for three positions, we will want at least one more so we have two specialist attackers for each of those three positions, Zaniolo wasn't brought in just because Buendia got injured, we needed an extra an extra attacker

Also there were question marks over Buendia before last season when we were looking to establish ourselves as a great eight club, and there will be even more so now expectations are even higher, as he will have to raise his game to an higher standard, Bailey was in the same position before this season just gone, plus the fact he's coming back from quite a year out, I'm sure he will do fine, but we still need another option

Every reliable reporter reporting that we want at least one attacker, and it just makes logical sense, so I think it's likely to happen, might not be some big name superstar, could just be another with a similar profile to Rogers as a squad option - I say just, if we could find another that has similar impact to Rogers that would be brilliant

Mcginn and Youri will primarily be deployed in those 3 roles as well. Plus Barkley can be 8th Choice. I do agree that weay still be interested in another attacker but signing 2 more midfielders is a priority for me. Get me a physical B2B who can play CDM and a natural CDM please
