Not sure if this is the right logic, but if you take the average points distributed in a PL game (about 2.8) and deduct our opponents avg ppg this might give an indication of our expected points in those games. So our expected points in our games with Cash at RB was 1.57, and we actually got 2.06, so an overperformance of 0.49ppg or 31%. This is vs a Konsa at RB overperformance of 0.28ppg or 22%

Does seem a quiet end to the window. We clearly have gaps especially as we were after Felix and it appears no alternative was considered if we didn't get him, or we missed out on those too. Maybe they were contingent on Duran sale in conjunction with Diaby? 

I wonder if we will move for Geertruida even if Carlos stays. Cash missing a few games doesn't force our hands. Is there a Loan anywhere we are considering?

I agree, to a degree. He's not terrible, but he is just an average winger who lacks height, but is quite strong. Considering our drive to gather more physicality & height into the team, Im not sure a 5'4" player really fits the bill. Im not "height-est" or anything, but we really do appear to be making a concerted effort to bring in more height & physicality.

One thing that I could never understand is when Neville almost wet his pants over Gnontos performance against us on TV. He was decent enough, but Neville was talking like he was the second coming of Pele. He's also a whiny little cheat too. Gnonto, not Neville.

I definitely would not want Gnonto at Villa.

A very expensive utility player mate… stupid wages.

He’s never played CB in a competitive game for us or Unai either. Barely plays in the one position we could or have played him in. Even Tim got games over him.

Must get rid, no space or room for him anywhere. Just not up to it.

Keep and develop Enzo, get rid of Donk.

Not a huge amount tbh (also don't think he's played a lot compared to a Yoro for instance) but from the little I did see, he seemed OK. Just your usual young French CB who physically looks the part but I thought he liked to battle for the ball a bit too much so was a little reckless when you compare him to others.

Also think I'm scarred from signing anyone off Nantes after Mathieu Berson
