Elliot Anderson was basically a regular starter for Newcastle. Missed games mid season with a back injury and he's only 21 and English whole career ahead of him. £35m is near the going rate for prospects like this because their wages demands are much lower at young age than in prime so the overall cost of a deal (transfer+wages) and factoring in resale value. They are expensive players

With how many games we hopefully will have to play, this would be a good shout. He can learn from McGinn, Tielemans, Barkley? and others whilst developing with Enzo. On a serious note.....I am genuinely attracted to Centre Forwards between 6'1- 6'4 after that, they can get a bit gangly.....if they have a knack for headers like Jota, I can live with his stature, but they are harder to find.

However, headed goals are still a significant part of the game.....and to miss out on such actions, is disappointing imo.....Goals change games as we all know, and set pieces are a huge element of the modern game... to not be well equipped to meet crosses, is a negative imv

when we are struggling to break teams down, or are just off it a bit.....A random header, can change the mood, and raise/inject the belief.

They say, that c17% of all goals scored are headers, thats a significant number to make any manager interested.....even these Euro's have registered quite a few.

I am all for having at least one, taller forward to join our squad ( for balance) but he would have to have the necessary skill set on the floor too.

I may stand corrected, but we haven't been particularly good in the air, in any dep't of our team, since Mings has been out.

Seen a certain young player last night who just got a £19m move to Chelsea, my words to him were “im sad but all the best bro”, his response was “Bro im sad myself but its one of them, appreciate it my bro” very genuine response from a humble young talent…so he's still in Birmingham and hasn’t fully moved to the capital yet it seems.

We generally prefer those dimensions in width, highly gullible and with a British or American citizenship in the pipeline is a bonus

Yeah the players we got in the deal are probably worth 40 mil by themselves. 

I think we could have and should have gotten more money for Doug but both values were deliberately deflated by each club so the 5 year fee would be lesser.
