It was one of several awful decisions by the referee yesterday. I honestly don’t think we’ve had a decent referee yet this season. Morgan was class yesterday. He is still very raw but he has the qualities needed to be a star. We have so many young players who have lots of growth potential. We are in a great place as a club now.

There have been multiple times where i';ve thought, he's gonna lose the ball here, then he just doesn't and is charging towards goal. The ball must be glued to his foot. He's incredible at turning and running forwards with the ball, once he improves and becomes more consistent in his decision making and passing, he'll be a world class player
CarryOnVilla Posted Thursday at 13:04 Share Posted Thursday at 13:04 Confirmed to not be in the England squad. It’s a shame, but it’s currently a competitive position to get a spot.
HongKongVillan Posted Thursday at 13:08 VT Supporter Share Posted Thursday at 13:08 What a clearing in the woods Carsley. Although better to stay, either rest or being coached properly. Hope he pulls out if he is in U21
markavfc40 Posted Thursday at 13:20 Share Posted Thursday at 13:20 Morgan Gibbs White in the squad again but no Rogers. Unbelievable, Carsley just following on from Southgates nonsense.
Mazrim Posted Thursday at 13:33 Share Posted Thursday at 13:33 Its only a matter of time. Even a Troglodyte like Carsley can't keep him out for much longer. He'll be an England player before the season is out.

HanoiVillan Posted Thursday at 13:42 Share Posted Thursday at 13:42 Am I the only one who's not scandalised by this? Not just because 'we don't want him to get injured' (though it's true that burnout is a potential issue given he's firmly first choice week in week out now) but also because I'm not fully convinced that his skillset is exactly what England need in these games against very limited opposition who are likely to content themselves with playing in the deepest of low blocks. Popular Post Tom13 Posted Thursday at 13:45 Popular Post Share Posted Thursday at 13:45 Huge overreaction here. Carsley had us playing some great stuff, and we all know Morgan will be in the squad soon and will stay in. No rush. Let's not pile in on Carsley yet - he's a better tactician than Southgate.

That’s no high bar. My pet dog is still a better tactician than southgate and unfortunately we had to bury her a few years ago.

The_Steve Posted Thursday at 14:33 Share Posted Thursday at 14:33 I’d rather have Rogers focused on us. He does deserve a call up but it also reduces the risk of possible injuries too.

Farlz Posted Thursday at 15:26 Share Posted Thursday at 15:26 MGW was one of Carsley’s key players in his U21s it’s not that outrageous. This is a fine decision as long as Rogers gets a rest and he’s not called up to the U21 squad again.

I would consider Gibbs-White more of attacking central midfielder and Rogers a forward.

No problem with him not getting picked for the senior side, though I think it'll definitely come. As long as he isn't expected to turn out for U21s as that is just wasting everyone's time and risking injuries
cheltenham_villa Posted Thursday at 15:55 Share Posted Thursday at 15:55 Sadly Rogers needs to be considered against other forwards, hes playing as a ten for us just off watkins. Hes up against Foden, Palmer, Bellingham even. Ive no issue with Carsley and love that hes pick MGW, excellent player and shows no club bias.
est1874 Posted Thursday at 15:57 Share Posted Thursday at 15:57 Few claret and blue blinkers on in here I think. He's not consistent enough yet to have earned an England callup IMO, some games has been immense, some games shite. If I was international manager and I watched him against Leicester for instance, would I be picking him? No He's got huge talent but has maturing to do and isn't ready yet.
