colhint
I learned a new word today, one that I have never read or heard before. I mean I've heard some words that I didn't know and had to look up. But in 60 years I've never come across it. Anyway the word is eggcorns. It means misinterpreting words of phrases people hear. An example would be a damp squid instead of a damp squib. The latter being the correct one.

One of my favourite bits of their show. 1

Lol, interestingly the pitch does have its own sort of heat map going on.

Xela
On a similar note, the start of Next Episode by Dr Dre was a sample from a David McCallum track. David McCallum played 'Ducky' in NCIS (was also in the Man from UNCLE tv show)

Not a sample as such but an entirely stolen melody anyway
ml1dch
I reject the premise of the thread title, but I feel it's worth noting that this will be the first season since 1930-31 when none of Stanley Matthews, Peter Shilton and Gianluigi Buffon makes a first-team appearance.
