€55m is laughable. Good it was rejected. Better pay up if you want him

I bet if it was Chelsea, Liverpool etc they would have already paid overs.

Is it 55m euro's or pounds.

That's a pretty low number was expecting 70m for him.

€55m (£46m) has been rejected according to the latest L'equipe journalist.

I can't see us selling for anything less than €60m (£50m) initially, with further add ons.

Diaby is "almost OK with the club". What does that even mean.

I love the utterly bollocks they come out with to make it sound like they know more than they do. I wonder if they believe it works or they're just playing the game.

I think it means he's very close to an agreement on personal terms.

Are you really criticising someone’s message based up its auto translation?!?!

Ahh yes, but he was in the building signing the contract yesterday. I feel someone somewhere is telling porkys.

No, I'm criticising the French journalist.  Eve  if you make it "Nearly OK with the club", it's still made up nonsense.

I mean that is translated from a different language, the phrasing is never going to be 100% accurate to be fair to the guy.

I believe Neymar is the only time a Saudi club has paid over £50m for an individual player, so it feels like that figure will ultimately be the ballpark here.

You do know how sentences are also made differently in other languages?

it might make perfect sense in French. Also, you’re smart enough to know what the English equivalent would mean

I know I know... but even if you translate it to the accurate English equivalent it's still almost certainly claiming something they don't know is true. Bolted on to the end of the main tweet to add substance to it and pad it out. All the ITK's do it, and it's always useless/garbgage info.

Wild to think this would be our biggest sale after Grealish and just above what we sold Dougie for.

The last player we sold before for above £30m was Benteke.
