He was pulling a bit of a grimace at one point and stretched down to touch his toes. Hopefully he's alright because he's absolutely vital to us.

IMO they're both gonna be elite, or very close to it. Edited December 30, 2023 by Tom13

wishywashy
Although probably helped by Burnley going down to 10 men (and even though we conceded), the minute he came on we were immediately so much more composed in possession: like the Villa we've been seeing all season. IMO he's already at an elite level. He clearly elevates an already very good team to greater heights, you have to be elite to do that.
El-Reacho
Out for the boro cup game. Hope this injury doesn’t drag on any longer.

Probably good he's getting a prolonged rest. Bigger games than the FA Cup on the horizon and we need him fully fit.

Callum
bit concerning, no? JJ, rushed back once already, has it happened again? Pau, comes on against Burnley, prolonged injury. God help Buendia and Mings.

He's clearly just not ready to make the squad yet, no mention of a further setback from Unai just now on Sky. Ramsey has a small knock and is ill anyway. Don't see how this has anything to do with two ACL injuries.

My comment was obviously not about the injury diagnosis but the decision to prematurely bring players into competitive matches after injury, which to me, is a concern
