Leeroy
He's a phenomenal passer of a football with both feet, didn't realise his left foot was so good too, just a shame he struggles to run. Hopefully Unai gets him fitter and leaner over the summer. Edited March 27 by Leeroy

Outrun the whole England defense for his second goal, the guys a baller, if it was an England player putting that performance in the press would go mental.
DevonIsAPlaceOnEarth
What a performance. That run for the second goal should start to dispel some of the commonly held views on his fitness and output - inside and outside of Villa fans.

Tom13
His fitness is definitely underrated. His passing is just superb. Releases it early and accurately.

He's the sort who'd do fine in the CL with the general tempo the games are played at. On a high wage with years left on his contract. can't see who can afford him unless he's desperate to go to Saudi land with Digne. Kamara won't be around for pretty much all CL games and we've seen with recent selections Tim isn't deemed ready by UE so seems a bit of stretch to imagine him starting high level CL games in 4-5 months time. Tielemans would be an even better rotation option next season than he has been this year if he stays fit. Summer 2025 he's more likely to be sold. Bit amusing people would be up for selling half the squad if we make CL. So we'd be playing higher intensity games every 3-4 days than this season with a far less experienced team? Unai is a miracle worker but even keeping us top 6 competitive would be beyond him I suspect.
PaulC
I wish he could do it for us though.

Captain_Townsend
Youri is a great option, especially against teams who park the bus.

He's an 8 or some of best games for us played as a 10 I know he is not....my point was, with only 1 in the squad and him out long term.....his experience may help or compensate, so he has to play in the team. He's an 8 for me, but so is Dougie. If we can pack the midfield with experience, it might help us through the next 9 games.
DJBOB
Fair play to him. Played seriously well as the more defensive cover of the double pivot. First ball to Watkins deserved an assist.

ROTTERDAM1982
Hes a lovely footballer, and probably his best all round game for us. I feared his lack of physicality would hinder us tonight, but it didn't. Fantastic pass to Watkins
