Popular Post villanmac
Mentally this is a bigger blow for Spurs then it is for us imo if these things do have a psychological impact (I'm not sure they do) it could heap more pressure on them for the run which is a good thing.

Captain_Townsend
It is important we focus on the Arsenal win, and the momentum we have. This nervousness/pessimism needs to be left at the door. Put tonight's games to one side, We have a great chance to get 4th anyway.

It’s the Liverpool game that is critical, should City get past Madrid here. Thats a good point. Man City, Villa and Liverpool advancing would keep 5th alive. Something they mentioned on the Claret & Blue podcast, was that all of Spurs remaining games are after our game. Meaning we play first Spurs are playing catch up if we win. Could have a demoralising effect knowing if they don’t they’re dropping further behind.

Now it’s at extra time They get 1 point for the first leg and 1 point for this leg. That bit is now confirmed. But then they get 2 more matches in the semi final (if they win) to accumulate more points. Plus bonus points for getting through each round. Popular Post Zatman
End of day everything is in our hands. If we dont get 4th or win Conference its our fault. Liverpool to win 4-0 tomorrow, us to win tomorrow and Moyes pull off a masterclass and dump out Lederhosen then the coefficient is back on It’s more than back on with those results. It’s done for England. The definition of still on would be city winning here and us winning tomorrow. Then city beat Bayern and we win in the semi. Bayer can also go out in the semi
