Vive_La_Villa
Premier League will get that 5th spot. I feel certain of that. Now it’s over the Villa. We got this !

Hopefully they get Liverpool, who should beat any team in it. Although the media love fest on Klopp v his successor might not be worth the coefficient points

They seem to more or less play the same 11 every week. You’d think something has to give. They’ve been a little lucky with injuries to key players up to now. Although Arsenal fans will till you otherwise with Partey and Timber being out all season.
villarule123 Posted March 15 VT Supporter Share Posted March 15 Not a great draw for us, at least until the SFs if they both get there. Real are the strongest team City could have got, and Bayern are capable of beating Arsenal.
CVByrne
City Madrid ffs that is a bad situation if City get dumped out. Dortmund got the easiest draw too Edited March 15 by CVByrne

The fact they've been able to play Gabriel and Saliba together for pretty much every game has been huge for them, I think. Were either one of them missing for an extended run of games I think their form would suffer.

Germany are now pretty much relying on Bayern and Leverkusen winning their competitions and all English clubs going out at the QF. Smile.

That Arsenal v Bayern game really key though in terms of CoefficientWatch.

As one English team will be in the final and a German team would be knocked out. It means almost certainly 0.625 points x 3.

It guarantees an English team in the final and Bayern out in the QF. It's the exact opposite of bad. Edited March 15 by StefanAVFC
MSvillain
Great article on Opta, Man Utd with a 2.3% chance of Top 4 even with their easier run in. https://theanalyst.com/eu/2024/03/premier-league-schedule-how-difficult-are-your-teams-final-10-games/ Edited March 15 by MSvillain

Alakagom
Pretty much the worst possible draw. It's not impossible that Arsenal and City could go out and Dortmund got the easiest possible opponent. Hopefully Liverpool doesn't get West Ham now..
