Popular Post HanoiVillan
The over-reactions are going to be quite tiresome. People have spent weeks insisting this was a "must win" game so of course now we've lost it will be a disaster. But it was not a "must win" game, we are two points ahead of them and they can and will drop points themselves in the run-in. Of course it's now much harder and we absolutely didn't need McGinn being so stupid, but we can get points without him. The worst reaction is the one we will get, where everyone spends the next few days tearing us apart. We need to get behind the team, we have recovered before and we can do it again.
Pinebro
We're still 4th. Spurs have a tough April. Far from over even if they win their game in hand. Losing McGinn for 3 games is really gonna suck though. I would rather take a loss than to lose him for 3 games

It feels like people completely jump over several stages. They go from "if we win this we've basically got 4th sewn up" to "we're basically out of the race for top 5 now" after we lose. It's absurd.
The_Steve
There’s a lot more twists and turns to come.

I think some people would rather be reactionary or hyperbolic to prove pointless things than focus on the big picture. It’s all so silly tbh..
DCJonah
I'm just annoyed. Was a must not lose and we **** it. Mcginn suspended and GD getting worse. It feels like its going to be over. Momentum is with them.
VillaChris
Very bad result for the GD aswell. Spurs pretty much caught us up now and they still have all of Burnley, Luton, Forest at home and Sheffield United away so will likely get at least one big win in the run in. We will win games but they feel more tight ones. Abysmal second half cost us 4th here.
Tom13
Our decision making in the final third is comically bad at times, so far off the 'top' teams. Tielemans makes two killer runs first half, both putting him one-on-one with the keeper, and he wasn't found for either. Generally though, our attacking decision making is too often poor. villan95
Started the day with 6 GD better than Spurs too. Now they're 2 ahead..

Need to beat West ham and Wolves, get some of our GD back that's took a hit today. All we can do is keep going.
rodders0223
CL is proper shite anyway. Stick your £50m. Chris Heck has got a plan to sell all you drink cans of super tenants and all you can eat scampi fries on match days for £3000 a year.
VillaChris
8 goal swing on the GD in one half, brutal.

Not going to be finishing above them if points are level as they have a much kinder fixture list to get more big wins compared to us.
