At their best they would beat Brighton but no, can't be arsed to turn up but if they were playing us of course they would. Genuinely thought Brighton would get a point at most out of Arsenal, Newcastle and City, pretty much f*cks us if they win this. They aren't bottle jobs. They've run out of gas this season, they're is a massive difference between the two. Very similar to us. Lack of options in certain areas to switch it up with similar quality when injuries crop up or players are out of form.

The Fun Factory
Thanks a bunch Arsenal. Down to us and Spuds for 7th. I can see them struggling next season to about 5th. Edited May 14, 2023 by The Fun Factory

Genie
Only just seen the Brighton goal… what on earth was the Arsenal defender thinking downing tools there and then??? Ridiculous to see that kind of thing at this level.

Bottle jobs, on the beach etc. What I'm seeing is a very very good Brighton team comprehensively outplaying them. Saddens me to say it but they look better than us right now and probably deserve to finish ahead of us. Arsenal are chasing shadows at times. Give them some credit, if we saw others writing like this when we were schooling a top side we'd have our heckles up. True, but Arse are supposed to be fighting for the league title here.

Had the season started when Unai took over we'd comfortably be in Europe. Never before has a season start been so devastatingly wasted. Even half the Gerrard games back would change the whole landscape of the table. It's just unfortunate. Just checked though, Spurs finished in 6th on 59 points in 19/20. We could finish on 61 and be 8th still. West Ham last season made 7th on 56 points so one less than we have now. Man. United only got 58 points and 6th. Just wish one season where we're actually pretty good we don't need abnormal points total to finish in lower european positions.

avfc1982am
Even one Arsenal point could be enough. 2 points dropped for Brighton would still keep us in it.

VillaChris
Attwell isn't the ref in this is he, he'd add about two minutes on. Arsenal don't really look like scoring at all, very similar to us at Wolves.
Villatillidie95
spurs wont beat a solid brentford imo, also the west ham - spurs derby is usually a tasty one and west ham do get a result in it at times
