One semi final tuesday

One semi final wednesday

4 semi finals tonight

Do you think UEFA ever stop to think that the problem with the lack of interest in their competitions is actually because of them?

Agreed the final of the Conference League is in Prague at a 20k capacity stadium where is the incentive!?  What's that gonna give the fans of each club? 5k each?

It's bobbins.

Yup, I was just about to raise the final stadium as well, that combined with the poor scheduling really shows how few **** UEFA gives about anything but the CL.

So why bring the third tier back? If you're going to do it, show it some respect.

In commentary they said UEFA had accepted this was a mistake and would make sure that future venues had a capacity of at least 30,000.

Who do they think is going to reach these finals? It'll be big Premier League sides and decent La Liga, German and Italian teams.

They should be looking at a minimum 60,000 capacity.

If we were to somehow make it into this competition and end up playing someone like Lazio in the final, they could sell double that - it's absurd - it's like they've decided it's not their big final so they're deliberately hamstringing it to make it look bad - all at the expense of fans.

30k is a joke too as the clubs probably only get 15k of that.

Jonathan Pearce is an absolute **** weapon

"It's funny isn't it, if an outfield player punched an opponent in the face, it'd be a sending off, yet goalkeepers are given the benefit of the doubt"

In theory yes. But what if they host it in a big stadium, and end up with a final like Lech Poznan vs Grasshoppers? Better a 20k stadium is full, than a 50k one half empty.

96th min, brutal. Still think they will come back next week. The return leg in Amsterdam will be tough for the hammers also, they were quite good on the ball today, was impressed with Alkmaar
