Xela
Champions League is when Pep usually tries to be too smart and it backfires on him. Wonder if he has learnt his lesson.
markavfc40
Looking forward to watching this and it is a great match up but it doesn't have the feel of a really big European tie like a game between Madrid, Bayern, Juventus, Barcelona, Man Utd, Liverpool, Milan would. Maybe it is an age thing.

BleedClaretAndBlue
Theres something quite sad about the best side this competition has ever seen, not being able to get a kick of the ball at home in a semi final against Mancheater Pity
WallisFrizz
I’ve seen half the teams in the prem give City a better game than Madrid so far tonight.

For teams in the Prem it's a free hit and everyone expects to lose so you can play without caring about consequences too much and have a go. As this is knock-out football it's more important to just stay in the game.

I've got no interest in this bunch of slags either, would like to see a complete boycott of their abhorrent crimes against football, but people want to watch the best teams. Could hardly make a dent in WC viewing figures so there's no chance here

No point going guns blazing and going into the second leg 3-0 down. Makes more sense (imo at least) to pick your moments more.
