One of them is being the one where Ryan Mason got Benteke sent off, but also because it's the game that kick-started Harry Kane's career, where he scored the only direct free kick of his career out of about 100 subsequent attempts in stoppage time. Got a nice helping hand from Nathan Baker's big magnet of a head of course. It's time to finally get revenge on Mason for that game. We've been stewing on it for about 8 and a half years now. 6

Managed to snipe a ticket in the Holte off the official site. Beats getting up at 2am to watch the match on tv. I am beyond excited. I returned my girlfriends Holte ticket back to the club yesterday as she can't make it. If you have her ticket, and we win, expect inappropriate touching and other, similar, shenanigans.

Kane in the Media today too, saying they all need to do better You just get that sense that it's not going to be easy, tbf, when is Spurs ever easy? It's all set up for a cracking game, and who would have thought we would be in such a position as this when the previous manager left? Whatever the result after the game, I think it's safe to say we will still but full of anticipation with a large amount of optimism in what may be possible come next season. That's something in itself, and I, for one, can't wait.
Robtaylor200
Actually going to this one. I brought a new shirt for my holiday. I wore it for the game against manure and Wolves. Don't worry not wearing it Saturday 1

Rodders
Yeah but we're villa, note our performances after the high of the Newcastle game, largely total crap. At least we have some players back which could help. Not optimistic mind think we've completely run out of steam.
rjw63
Season ending in a damp squib. Probably. Feel free to make me nosh loads of humble pie if we somehow manage to do a "Newcastle" on them.

Popular Post CLARETANDBLUEFOXY
I’ll be at this game, and I haven’t seen us lose when I’ve been at a game at Villa Park since against Leeds in 2018 (and I’ve been to plenty of games in that time) so I’m hoping to keep up my 100% record.

Demitri_C
Id definitely start kamara in this one in place of JJ. I would imagine bailey will start ahead of traore but that be only change. I would probably start digne as moreno has been pretty poor in the last two games esp wolves one. Be interesting to see what lord unai does

I think Kamara back in and McGinn back to his more advanced position with Traore/Bailey dropping out and Buendia playing off Watkins - that's the formation where we've had most success this season.

We haven't beaten them at home since NYD 2008, over 15 years ago, a home win is well, well, well overdue. Our away record at Spurs is actually reasonable, since 2015 we've won there three times and lost three times, but for whatever reason we cannot seem to beat them at home. Part of the reason for that I'm sure is how sh*t we've been over the years and now that we are finally competing again near the top end of the league I'd expect sh*tty records like this to start to change, hopefully that starts on Saturday. We certainly need to improve from the last couple of games.

duke313
Guys relax. Spurs haven't won away since Fulham on 23rd Jan, and we have not conceded a single goal in last 5 home games. Unai has got this.
