Paliniha is going to Bayern Munich for 60m.

Astounded Liverpool or even Chelsea didn't come in for that price.

That's a massive blow for Fulham and will impact on them even more than Mitrovic arguably.

Probably got enough to avoid relegation battle this season but feels like they overachieved for a season but now losing key players and falling back down the league quickly.

Palhinha for that price really is great value, I would take him here definitely, such a good midfield player and with great physical attributes.

fulham did well but it feels like when they were in europe that year, I think they know they can’t sustain it and they are starting to replace the players with poorer alternatives, which is sad to see

They will keep bidding until they get him

Exactly, more than ever you don’t accept first offer.

They’ve been sniffing around Salah for a while so personal terms and stuff are probably done (in principle). Liverpool probably have time to play hard ball.

Apparently they're going back in with a £175m bid.

It’s mad they’ll up their bid in increments of £25m.

I bet there’s other teams who have sold to Saudi realising they sold too cheap.

The language used here by Ornstein is bizarre

The bid was made by the league, and they will allocate him to Al Ittihad? So the league will own him and not the club?

The Saudi league is largely a toy for various royal family members to play with. 4 of the largest teams are 'run' by royal family members as their own little intra-family game.

£150m bid for Salah rejected by the dippers.

Madness.

If it happened a couple of weeks back, Liverpool would have sold no problem. Difficulty is the timing now. No chance of getting a replacement in.

You’d hope that one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world would have something part-baked for this potential eventuality. But football clubs as we know are not well run.

The PIF controls the four top teams so it’s just a case of which team gets first dibs.

It’s madness not to sell Salah for that much, if he loses a yard he’s done. 2 years left on his contract.

So late in the window would be a disaster for them and it would turn the fan base massively on the owners. It would be a sign of their decline after missing out on Champions League too.
