They are financially screwed . So i guess pocketing the money and then being able to steady the clubs finances. Their 2 best players sold this sunmer.

Thought they had mega rich owners or am I thinking of someone else?

They are owned by the poorest Saudi person in history, think was a takeover attempt that was scrapped recently

That Brazilian wonderkid angelo that Chelsea bought has kf course been sent out on loan to strasbourg, no one saw that coming

Spurs have signed argie striker alejo velez  from rosario for 15m,never heard of him not even on FM

Google has him as a Spanish Paralympian athlete born in 1968

In typical Spurs fashion he failed to register a score in the Olympics

The 'takeover attempt' was by a guy who is running an extremely obvious fraud, detailed here:

I presume they wasted real time and resources on pursuing a deal with this guy who was never going to come up with the goods. They're not the only club who spent last season waiting on a concrete offer from someone who is nowhere near as rich as they are pretending, as Morecambe are another example. British football seems to be attracting more and more Mitty types.

Whilst the prospective Sheffield United owner is probably dodgy as hell, Hindenburg research are well known in financial circles to play fast and loose with their “research”, especially when they have a vested interest in trashing the share price of a company they are shorting. Just be a bit wary of their perspective on this as it will be jaundiced as hell

Of course that's fair, short sellers have their agenda too. However the evidence in this case does not seem particularly marginal or open to much interpretation.

So Man City want Lucas Paquetá from West Ham. No doubt West Ham will get a good what... 60-80m for him if it goes through?

Not a bad summer for West Ham in terms of money raised from outgoings. Hope they continue to struggle to buy tho.

Chelsea going to sign Deivid Washington, Brazilian wonderkid from Santos.

Did Bohley download a new updated for Football Manager?

The perfect player if your searching for an equalizer.

Maguire going to West Ham, putting it out there think he’ll be a good signing for them. Obviously we got more value in Torres, but Maguire isn’t as shit as has been made out and will suit West Ham

Over the last 2 seasons, what evidence do you have he will be a good signing?

No evidence, just think he’ll do well. He was hung out to dry by Utd fans, overly critical of everything. Moyes will be more simplistic in his approach, head it clear, release the ball quickly, more numbers around him, deeper defensive line.

I partially agree with this, will be like when Bramble looked half decent playing under Bruce. Defensively he will look more solid in a compact defence

Issue is Maguire seems to have an air of arrogance about him that he thinks he is an elite ball player and he will still make mistakes if he continues it
