The Not Villa Summer Transfer Window 2023

His Name Is Death

Swedish GK  Leopold Wahlstedt signing for Blackburn from ODD in Norway. Be interesting to see how he gets on, he's probably the one I hope takes over for Sweden once we get rid of our current manager and replaces Robin Olsen in goal.

Gonna be interesting seeing if they go in for players after the Euro windows close.

Yeah, agents will be shopping their players like crazy if they didn't manage to get their preferred moves during the regular window.

Sander Berge in talks to join Burnley from Sheffield United, he's in the last year of his deal. Burnley might surprise a few this season as they are making some astute signings, including Ramsey, and play decent football...one to watch. Sheffield United on the other hand, no ambition and will be surprised if they don't finish rock bottom, you can't sell your 2 best players, the optics are terrible as Berge is potentially going to Burnley, a much smaller club and someone they got promoted with this season. Its terrible what is happening at their club rn!

£35m a pop for Maguire and McTominnay.

Moyes is a good gaffer but surely there comes a breaking point when he's (and I have no doubt it's him forcing the clubs hands on these 2...and Ings) spending serious money on this profile of player.

Alemany has some work to do.

Offer £15m for Ferran Torres.

Barca have been such a mess the last few years. And it might not all be Alemany's fault but enough of it has happened on his watch to make me think we may have dodged a bullet.

In what way?

playing watchable tippy tappy football and running away with the Championship and then signing players with little or no Premier League experience in the hope that one or two becomes good to sell on for a profit

Love watching Liverpool’s embarrassing pursuit of Lavia. They need at least one more midfielder and they are just low balling Southampton, who are having none of it. Probably because they’ve got to give a huge profit percentage to Man City.

This is what happens when you never have any money to spend. Another one for magic working Klopp to get angry about.

Wouldnt be surprised if he comes out with some rubbish that teams like Southampton should be proud to sell players to Liverpool
