Hobsons Choice Posted February 13, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2023 A State of National emergency has been declared in New Zealand after being impacted by Cyclone (Hurricane) Gabrielle. They have had nearly 400mm of rain in 24hrs (our annual average is generally between 800mm and 1400mm). Lots of landslides, floods and all manner of carnage. There will, unfortunately be folks who don't make it out of this one. Best wishes to all those in the firing line today, and over the next few days as conditions worsen.
Genie
I am often reminded to be grateful for the UK weather (and wildlife) that rarely kill people.
