When you consider some of the penalties Cash has conceded by people blasting the ball at him from like 5 yards away which have been given as handball, but that isn't?! Make it make sense. If I was asked to explain the offside or the handball rule to someone who didn't usually watch football I wouldn't be able to. It's just whatever. I have no clue what any given situation is gonna be called or not called by the refs. And VAR is just making it worse. Davkaus Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 At a guess, their interpretation is he's gone to block it with his knee, and it's either taken a deflection off his knee before it hits his hand (can't see from any of these videos), or they think his hand is in a natural position so it's not handball? Really don't know these days though, I can't keep up with their latest interpretations of the laws. Also, getting bloody tired of Fulham being so good, Brentford look a proper side as well. The fact we allowed these teams with inferior resources to comfortably pass us is almost criminal.
