sharkyvilla
Shit I was giving us half a chance today with Mings up against Haaland but this is going to be incredibly tough. I'm hoping for an Emi masterclass anyway. UTV. Edited February 12, 2023 by sharkyvilla

Agreed. Stop worrying about Chambers. He's a little slow, but otherwise very capable. None of the goals in that match last year were his fault. And you don't need pace against City since you'll be parked in your own end most of the match. The one difference from last season is Haaland. In September, Mings played him probably better than anyone in the league has. He has the size and the wits to match up with him; his one goal came when Konsa was marking him. Controlling Haaland is going to be the big challenge now. I think that we need to cut off his supply from the wings. Easier said than done when City have 10 players capable of being the supply. stewiek2
I for one would very much welcome it if Manchester was Red at the end of the day.

StewieGriffin
My only hope is the knowledge that Gerrard came up with a game plan to stifle Man City at home and get a point then Emery can manage one away. In Unai we trust

Tayls
Pretty standard defeat this. Hoping no more than 3/4-0 but wouldnt surprise me if we saw 5/6/7/8-0. Mings injured. Still think it was a great transfer window, those that said it was?
