sne
Sancho had a fair number of disciplinary issues in Germany. Often late to practice and what not. Maybe he's not quite grown up yet.
Tomaszk
Zaniolo is a crock. Only player we should be considering from Turkey is Arda Guler. 2

Zaniolo is very talented, and like Ramsey can play left inverted winger, centre mid, or no 10. Two major knee ligament injuries is horrible bad luck. However we signed Mings whom had two serious knee ligament injuries prior to joining us, and has barely missed a game since he arrived at the club. It all depends on how he has recovered from those injuries. As he would be fairly cheap (I would have thought) if we decided to sign him, would add depth, and potential is a top player. Would be a great rotation option with JJ. There’s still a lot of talent there despite those injuries. Not saying there’s truth this, but it fits the exact kind of profile of player we should be looking at.

Joao Felix Pedro Gonclaves Jadon Sancho Paulo Dybala Nicolo Zaniolo Joao Felix is class. He would fit in well as the number 10, can also play left wing. We could easily accommodate him and Williams and Ramsey in the same team. And Williams is my favourite for the right wing position. I saw enough of Felix at Chelsea to suggest a consistent run, in a settled team with a top coach, he won't have many problems doing well. Goncalves is similar to Felix in terms of the positions he plays, however I'm not convinced he has the physical attributes to succeed in the Premier league. For me he is very high risk, given the cost. I'd only sign him for less then 20m, or a loan with option sign permanently. Zaniolo I see as more of a depth signing, one to take a chance on given he would be relatively cheap. So I'd probably sign him in addition to Felix and Williams ideally. Sancho isn't a number 10, he is very much a left winger. I personally belive we are after a versatile 10 and a right winger. Any left winger we sign has to be able to play central midfield as well, I'd assume. I also doubt we are genuinely interested. So it's a no from me. I think versatility is a key aspect we are looking for in our signings. Emery's system doesn't really rely on a fixed formation. The beauty of his system is it's versatility. We have played 5-4-1, 4-5-1, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, and 4-3-3 under him, with the formation changing during games depending on the situation. Dybala is class, but his durability is in question for me. He is 29, and his wage will be huge. I also don't believe he wants to leave Italy. And there aren't any concrete links. 1

His technical abilty is first class, so Emery would see him as a player he can help, who can also help us.

As someone else pointed out Mings missed 608 days & 81 games between 15/16 - 17/18 is he a crock ? Are you a top knee specialist ? Agree Guler sounds like a great prospect but if Monchi is driving this one I’m all for it… Think we entice them to take Traore & £££ for Zaniolo

Tbf, Sancho is perfectly happy at RW and from a goals/assists perspective he's performed very strongly there - he's played there 92 times (vs. 131 on the left), so he can and does play there. I definitely agree with the majority of what you're saying, though, especially RE: Joao Felix. He's shown he can handle the prem and is an immensely talented player. I think the board are after a marquee signing and he fits the bill. Might be out of our reach but definitely worth a try. Zaniolo and Dybala both bother me in terms of injuries. We've already got Coutinho in the expensive, talented but unreliable position at the club. I don't really want to add to that. Williams has the right physical attributes to play in the prem, but I'd like to see more from him in terms of passing. At 20, you'd think that'd be fine, though. Agree about Goncalves - definite question mark.

I don't think Mings is relevant to the discussion given the individuality of injuries and the fact that he plays in a position that isn't as explosive. It's not just the ligament injuries either, it seems but rather a laundry list:
