To where?  The two clubs that were interested pulled out, and we don't seem to be budging on the fee. Nobody wants him, his antics probably didn't help.

I hope Unai gives him a few sub appearances in the 89th minute

If only there were some sort of authoritarian petrostate that was vastly overspending on their latest plaything, football.

If only it was every players dream to move there.  You can't just ship every player you don't want to Saudi, some players don't want to play there.

He's not really got an option, has he?

He's far too prideful/arrogant to apologise, knuckle down and build himself a career at Villa and nobody else is willing to pony up enough money for him. It's Saudi or bust.

is he stupid enough to sign for a Saudi club? His career and personal life will essentially be put on hold for the entire time he’s there.

He’s seen two potential transfers disappear due to his antics, no one in the PL will touch him with a pole now, or even Europe you would think due to the transfer fee.

His only chance now would be Saudi, he burnt his bridge with the club.

A lot of them live out in Bahrain where they can carry on their party lifestyles, apparently.

Why not... Diaby did and was praised for his decision

He's basically more selfish than your average footballer. Wanted a move, for the money and it appears also to live in London, to hell with everyone else. Saudi will be last on his list but it'll still give him the money he was chasing so he'll go there. None of this is about his game. Ego first, talent second. Pity.

Who praised Diaby to join the Saudi Pro League?

most people thought it was a waste of his career

What does wasting your career mean? Surely he'll earn more money in Saudi than in Europe. Is a career based only on what sporting trophies you win and their relative importance on football?
