He had a incredible purple patch during the end of the 22/23 season (after Emery left Villarreal). Ubder Emery his record was pretty dismal. Not blaming Emery for that cause Jackson was really young. He's one of those new signings at Chelsea on low salary but looooong contract so it's interesting how a buy out of those contracts would play out. Edit: The reason I'm not keen on another swap deal is that I'd rather we got the money to spend on the targets we want rather than on the players who are available from Chelsea. Then again Emery knows him so maybe he's keen on it this time around despite not trying last season when he was available. No chance he suddenly knuckles down and turns into a proper pro. He's already had his head turned and has notions that he is much better than he actually is. The last thing we need is a bad egg amongst a good group of players. All the signs point to him having a bad attitude.
