He always stands far too over the other side at free kicks exposing the other side. It's the same for England. David Seaman was similar at free kicks.

As much as I am chuckling at that penalty being given the Fulham player trod on Trippiers foot first, ala the dirty rat Penandes on Konsa, if not quite so clear, obvious, blatant and corrupt.

I always think that's a silly rule. Team get a chance to score from 12 yards and it gets refused because someone slips in the run up?

Feels like there should be a rewrite of it.

Essentially though, he's taken the penalty.

The penalty he took went about three inches forward, then he hit it again.

When he hits it again, that's a foul.

Yep, it's not as if he deliberately slipped.

Yes, but I guess the point is why isn't it a retake?  Hardly his fault for slipping.
